About Me

Patrick Heisel OBE, is a London based artist specialising in ink and watercolour paintings. With over a decade of experience painting in watercolours, Patrick's work is influenced by landscape, architectural, military and police themes. His use of loose ink, shadows, texture and perspective makes his work truly unique, revealing the beauty of the landscape, character of a building or the mood and atmosphere of a military or police scene. 

Alongside his artistic work, Patrick served as a police officer in Metropolitan Police Service and staff officer in the Army Cadet Force. His passion for architecture and buildings is complimented by his work as a Chartered Project Director in construction at the Department of Education. 

Patrick has competed as a wildcard contestant for Sky Arts 'Landscape Artist of the Year' television show and has taken part in many art competitions. He also donates his paintings for charity auctions and other good causes. 

Patrick was awarded his OBE in 2013 for services to policing and education.
